1.  Read James Thurber's fable on pgs. 127-128 of the Animal Farm novel.  Discuss and takes notes over fable elements, satire and irony.  Prewrite and draft your own fable (use Class Notes in TEAMS) that satirizes a human weakness in society.  Use Orwell's novel and Thurber's fable as a model.   DUE:  Post your final draft in TEAMS by March 5th.

Requirements:  Setting; +2 Animal Characters ;+5 lines of dialogue (Conventions);Problem/Task/Situation (Development);+5 Vocabulary (Language);+3 Paragraphs with concluding Moral (Focus and Organization)
