MICROSOFT TEAMS INSTRUCTIONS

MICROSOFT TEAMS

I will be using Microsoft TEAMS this year (2023-24) to deliver class content to students if we have to deliver content outside of the traditional school school setting (quarantine, etc).  I found it to be the most reliable way to get assignments and instructions to students during our experimentation with Distance Learning a couple years ago.

FIRST, make sure you download the TEAMS app (it is free for students).  You can do this on your cell phone or laptop at home.  After you have downloaded it:

  1. I have preloaded ALL students into their respective class periods for TEAMS.
  2. Log in using your school email and put in the respective codes (see below).
  3. This should take you to the dashboard where you will find your class. My classes look like this:  BHS yongec 2024 Gov’t (period number).

Go to TEAMS and enter the following codes;

PERIOD 1=

PERIOD 2=

PERIOD 3=

PERIOD 5=

PERIOD 7=

You are now set up to use TEAMS.

You will now be able access classwork AND Zoom info for office hours (RTI) or class instruction.  I will also communicate to the entire class here (instructions, due dates, upcoming events, etc) and you will be able to communicate with me as well.

If you have any questions or problems, PLEASE email me at [email protected] and we will get it ironed out.

Welcome aboard.
