Welcome to Mr. Eidemiller's class!

Welcome to another exciting school year here at Blackman High School! My name is Mr. Eidemiller and I will be teaching Geometry this year to you or your student. I have listed here a few things you or your student will need for class this year, in case you are looking early. This list will also be in my syllabus. I am looking forward to another great year and getting to know my students!

Items needed:
Composition books (we will be taking notes in these this year)
Pencils (We do not do math in pen) - as many as your student will need this year.
Sharpies - at least 1 (black)
Dry Erase markers - whatever colors you like
3 ring binder (for old and new homework assignments)
notebook paper
ruler
protractor

Recommended:
Texas Instruments 84 (TI84) calculator - We do provide calculators for student use, but do not have one for each student. If you do buy a calculator, please send your TI points in with your student. We can use these to buy new calculators for more students. These calculators can be bought almost anywhere, but check out Craigslist and pawn shops for nice used ones at a discount.

Nice to have:
Hand Sanitizer
Tissues (can never have enough of these) - I have a locker in the back of the room; put your student's name on them and they are not community property.

TI 84 Plus Calculator Emulator

If you want to run it on your android device, download it from the play store (Wabbit emu)
If you want to run the emulator on your computer, follow this link: https://wabbit.codeplex.com/

You can get your .rom file to make the program work from this link: http://tibasic.com/rom/
(Click on TI84PlusSE.rom) or click on the file below.

When you run the program, you will be asked for the .rom file. Let the program know where the .rom file is and click "open".

Ask me in class if you have any questions or have difficulty getting it to work.
