Bio

 

Megan Walters is the Media Arts and General Music Teacher for Blackman High School. Previously, she taught with Overton High School and Grassland Middle School. She is a graduate of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and recently received her masters from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. 

Originally from Chicago, IL Ms. Walters grew up in a large family with five siblings and fell in love with Nashville during her college years, deciding to stay and teach in the Middle Tennessee area. 

She has a strong passion for music, feeling as though it is an important aspect for every students lives.
