Instructional Coaches

We miss our students during this Covid-19  shutdown. We hope to see everyone very soon!
While nothing can replace face-to-face interaction with an educator, access to instructional materials is essential during an extended closure. Beginning the week of April 6, 2020, RCS will offer optional assignments and activities to keep students engaged throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. New assignments will be added for each week of the shutdown. Also, BHS teachers in all content areas will be sharing supplemental resources via their websites and will provide feedback on submitted assignments, although a grade will not be given.

Parents, if you need anything, please do not hesitate to call or email. We will take care of you!

It is my privilege to work alongside the teachers in our building to support academic growth for all of our students. If I can be of assistance in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me. Go Blaze!

BHS Professional Development Series

This year, Blackman High School is going "Bold School." Based on the book Bold Schools by Weston Kieschnick, our professional development sessions will combine "Old School Wisdom + New School Technologies." Each month we will spotlight a high-impact instructional strategy and explore how it can be supported by blended learning technologies. Along the way, we will have a variety of sessions for all subject areas led by our outstanding faculty members. To sign up, just click on the session you would like to attend. We hope you can join us!
