Bio

 

Megan Walters is the General Music and Class Piano Teacher for Blackman High School. Previously, she taught with Overton High School. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, receiving her Bachelor of Music Education in 2022 and Master of Education in 2023. 

While originally from Chicago, Ms. Walters has lived in Middle Tennessee since 2018. She has a great passion for music education and believes it is part of the human experience. 

When not teaching, Ms. Walters plays French Horn in The Lakes Brass Quintet. A non-profit organization based in Nashville that performs community outreach concerts throughout Middle Tennesse.
