Ms. Dabney's BCA Biology and AP Biology
Students and Parents,
Welcome to my webpage! I am thrilled to be teaching BCA Biology and AP Biology this year. I have been a teacher for 16 years and have been at Blackman for 13 of those years. I am a proud mother of Laken Dabney, a former BHS student and Emery Dabney, a 9th grader at BHS. I also currently serve as the BCA events coordinator and help with BCA admissions as well.
Textbook:
BCA Biology: I do not use a textbook in my class. I will have an online version of the textbook that the county provided available as a link shortly. Khan Academy is an excellent resource for videos and articles on the subjects that I teach.
AP Biology: All AP students have received a physical textbook that should be kept at home until the end of class. Students may use this as a learning resource.

Here are the directions on how to retrieve your missing work.
I post assignments in Schoology at the end of everyday. You may print off assignments if you would like but I will have hard copies of assignments available to you upon returning to school.
1. Go to Schoology through Clever
2. Click on my class.
3. Click on the appropriate month's file folder.
4. Click on the appropriate day(s).
5. Read agenda. Click on attachments for assignments.
6. Download assignment to computer for editing or print off assignment.
7. Email me when finished or turn assignments into me upon returning to school.
