DeAnna D. Osborne - WORLD HISTORY, ESL
Biography
Ms. Osborne has obtained a bachelor's degree in Human Services and Psychology, a master's in divinity, and an Educational Specialist degree with an emphasis in Administration and Supervision. Ms. Osborne is a Ph.D. student in the area of Literacy Studies at MTSU and is beginning her 29th school year as an educator.

My availability is between the hours of 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions or concerns that arise.
Conference times are available for meeting with teachers every Thursday afternoon. We will also have several opportunities for you to visit the school and talk with teachers throughout the school year.
I will send emails to parents/guardians periodically to update families on activities at the school, in the district, and in the community. I will also email parents regarding students' performance in class. Parents - please ensure your email and phone numbers are listed correctly in Skyward.

Class resources will be posted on Schoology.
World History & Geography
We will use the World History and Geography text in class which is accessible through Clever.
Grading Policy
In class work -- Needs to be turned in at the end of class. If it is turned in later in the day or the next day, it is 10 points off. Each consecutive day is an additional 10 points.
Missing work -- Loses 10 points each day.
Work when absent -- You have 5 days from the day you return to turn your work in for full credit. Please take advantage of IMPACT in order to get help and get caught up.
