Welcome! 

I am excited for my 2nd year at Blackman High School! This is my 10th year of teaching, and I truly love math and teaching. I have my bachelor's in secondary education-math from the University of North Alabama and my master's in mathematics from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. 

Make sure to check the syllabus for class so you know what to expect. 

Please use Clever to access assignments in Schoology. If this is your first time accessing Clever from home, you will need to put your entire email address in ([email protected]) and your password that you always use to log into a computer at school.

I make sure everything is posted in Schoology - Bell Ringers, notes, videos of the lessons, and homework. Make sure to check there if you are absent or are not sure what the deadline for something is.  

It also helps if you do not use Google Chrome and instead use Microsoft Edge.

This year's textbook is enVision Algebra 2 by Savvas. You can access the digital version of this textbook along with videos and practice through Clever. If you would like a hard copy of the book to use at home, please ask me in class.

Check your grades regularly through Skyward using your assigned username and password. If you need assistance with your login information, visit or call our attendance office (ext. 22913).
