Ms. West, Assistant Principal

We welcome all students and teachers back to Blackman High for the 2025-2026 school year. It is wonderful to see all of our students and watch them engage in the classroom, clubs, sports, and activities this year. Good luck to our football, cross country, volleyball, golf, and girls soccer teams this fall. Go Blaze!

 

Biography

Ms. West has been in education for 14 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Secondary Education degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman University. Additionally, she finished her Educational Specialist degree from Arkansas State University in January of 2025. She began her teaching career at Stewarts Creek Middle School as a seventh grade English Language Arts teacher and softball coach before moving to Siegel High School to teach English I and coach/sponsor multiple sports and activities. After teaching for eight years, she became an assistant principal at Rockvale High School for two years before coming to Blackman in 2022. Go Blaze!
