Visual Arts I & II
My name is LeAnne Deats. I teach Visual Arts I & II and co-sponsor Art Club. Due to scheduling conflicts, the first Art Club meeting has not been scheduled. If you're interested in Art Club, please listen to the announcements and/or check this page for updates. Thank you for your patience.

Schoology: Final Draft and Artist Statement assignments will be posted on Schoology. Students will photograph their artworks/type their reflections before submitting on Schoology. Other assignments may also be posted and turned in on Schoology. Assignments not required to be submitted on Schoology are typically graded during class in the form of sketchbook checks.
Late Work, Grading Policy, & Skyward: Please view the BHS Grading Policy. Late work is graded in the order it is received and after all on-time assignments have been graded. Students are expected to check Skyward for grades. Missing assignments will be graded as a "0" and marked "Missing" until they are turned in and graded. If you are absent, email [email protected]. Please include your class period, the date of your absence, and any specific questions you may have.
Syllabus & Studio Habits: View the Syllabus for more information about Art I and Art II Studio Habit expectations. Students of all skill levels are artists when they study/create in the classroom. The classroom becomes their art studio on day 1. Maintaining proper Studio Habits throughout their creative process allows them to strengthen their problem solving skills and show growth.
