Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Scholarships
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee's Scholarship Program is made up of 38 different scholarship funds established by individuals, firms or organizations wanting to assist individuals in furthering their educations. Students apply to the program and, if eligible, can be awarded grants from one or more of these different funds. American Legion Scholarships
Criteria: Children or legally adopted children or a child of a spouse by a prior marriage or dependent child as defined by the United States Armed Services for active duty personnel of the United States military and National Guard, and military reservists who were federalized and die on active duty on or after September 11, 2001 are eligible. Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program

Applicant must also have demonstrated commitment to community service, have outstanding qualities in character, integrity and leadership. Financial need must be demonstrated. Burger King Scholars Program/James W. McLamore WHOPPER scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend a 2 or 4 year university, college or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico. GPA (minimum 2.5), work experience

Profile in Courage Essay Contest

Richard Siegel Foundation

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship (DAR)

Criteria:  Applicant must be a high school senior and a citizen of the U.S. with plans to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. An essay of 1000 words or less setting forth career objectives is required. There are multiple scholarships available. Central High School Alumni Association, Inc. Nashville, TN.

Criteria: Applicant must be a natural or adopted descendant of a Nashville Central High School graduate or of someone who attended Nashville Central for at least 2 years and did not transfer to or graduate from another school. Selection will be based on academic achievement and financial need.

ACS Scholars Program

Criteria: Applicant must be African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino or American Indian and a U.S Citizen or legal permanent U. S. resident, a graduating senior with plans to major full time in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or other chemically related field such as environmental science, materials science or toxicology. Students interested in a 2-year college program for chemical technology may also qualify for scholarships. Must demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in chemistry or science classes.
