 MTSU Human Services Department Scholarships (2)

Criteria:  Mary Neal Alexander Scholarship: Student must be a high school graduate enrolled in full-time study each semester in the Human Sciences Program. Their High School GPA must be a minimum of 2.5 with an minimum ACT score of 25. The student must also be involved in their community or church.

Criteria:  Christine and Roddy Memorial Scholarship: Student must be a high school graduate of Rutherford County (preference is

given to Lascassas and Rockvale graduates). Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 or ACT score of 18. Student must be enrolled full-time during each semester in a Human Sciences Program.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be a graduating senior enrolling as a part or full time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university. They must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Grote Chemistry Scholarship

University of Tennessee Chattanooga

Criteria: Student must complete high school Chemistry with an A or B and must have a GPA of 3.5 or above. Student must also have an ACT score of 26 or higher or 1170 on SAT. Student must declare chemistry as their major at UTC.For more details click here:  https://www.utc.edu/chemistry-physics/

The Westbrook Scholarship

Criteria: Student must be accepted for admission at UTCStudent must have a 3.0 GPA and an ACT score of 23 minimum.

First preference will be for students majoring in chemistry or physics.

OHM Diversity Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant should be a high school senior, female or minority (as defined by the Equal Employment Opportunity Program

(African American, Hispanic, Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander or multi racial) who is planning to enroll in a STEM program or other field of practice of OHM Advisors. Applicant should have a 3.0 GPA at the time of application, but it is not mandatory. For more information, see Mrs. Breiner.

Information Security Undergraduate Scholarship

2019 BCAT Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be a senior who is graduating in 2019. They must be a child, player or manager of a BCAT member coach. For additional information see Mrs. Breiner or the scholarship binder in the counseling office.

Deadline: Applications are accepted March 1 - April 1 Only.

 

Richard Siegel Foundation 2019 Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be an incoming freshman entering a full time program within one year from the scholarship deadline. The applicant must also have a 2.8 GPA or 20 on the ACT as well as showing a need for financial assistance. For more information and application, see Mrs. Breiner or the scholarship binder in the counseling office.

Award: $2500.00 (renewable)

Deadline: March 8, 2019

 

Donald and Barbara Mozley Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be pursuing an engineering degree at an ABET accredited college or university and have

a 3.5 GPA or higher. They must also have a total SAT score of 1220 or higher and/or an ACT score of 27 or above

Tennessee Concrete Association High School Essay Contest

Criteria: Student must be 16-18 years old at the beginning of the school term. Essays must be 600 words or less. For more information see Mrs. Breiner or the Scholarship binder in the counseling office.

UTC Watson Math Scholarship

Criteria: Student must be an incoming freshman at UTC majoring in Mathematics. See Mrs. Breiner for more information.

KFC REACH Educational Grant Program

Criteria: Applicant must currently work at or have been previously employed at KFC. They must have a GPA of at least

Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be a childhood cancer survivor diagnosed before age 18 who has demonstrated the ability to overcome the difficult challenges of cancer with determination and motivation. Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors Realtor Scholarship Application

Criteria: Applicant must be an incoming freshman with plans to attend an accredited 2 year or 4 year college or university physically located in one of the following counties: Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Marion, Moore or Rutherford, during the fall semester 2019 and the spring semester of 2020. Sheltia S. Murray Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be an incoming freshman for the fall of 2019 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum ACT score of 22.
