Dual Enrollment

If you are interested in enrolling in one or more of the Dual Enrollment courses, we will be offering at Blackman High School for the 2020-21 school year, you will need to do the following.  To be eligible for the Dual Enrollment program, students must:

  • Be a junior or senior in high school
  • Have a minimum 3.0 high school G.P.A OR have a minimum of 22 ACT score*
  • Complete the checklist before being registered for a dual enrollment course

*If you do not meet the ACT score required for the course you have requested, you may go ahead and register for admission but will need to do one of the following to register for the course.

  1. Retake the ACT- Register for ACT at act.org
  2. A student may also take the ACT Residual at the MTSU Testing Center. The advantage of taking the ACT Residual is, traditionally, scores come back faster. However, the test score stays only at MTSU and may not be used at other schools. (This score cannot be used for scholarship purposes.) You may find more information about the ACT Residual at http://www.mtsu.edu/countest/testing/actres.php
