We welcome all students and teachers back to Blackman High for the 23-24 school year. It is wonderful to see all of our students and watch them engage in the classroom, clubs, sports, and activities this year. Biography
Mr. Lawless has been in education 37 years. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University and his Masters of Administration degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. He began as a math teacher and basketball coach at Brentwood High School before moving on to Lincoln County High School and then Crockett County High School. When Blackman High School opened in 2000, Mr. Lawless came as one of the original staff members as he continued to teach math and coach basketball. Mr. Lawless became as assistant principal in 2007.
